Sylvia is a student at Shawnee Mission South High School, graduation candidate of 2024. She studies cello under the direction of Ho Anthony Ahn.

Active in the youth classical music community, she has performed with the Kansas City Young Chamber Musicians, Opus 76 Sunrise Quartet, Youth Symphony of Kansas City, World Youth Symphony Orchestra, with her high school chamber ensembles and Symphonic Orchestras and for community events.
